On January 30, Jennie made an appearance on the YouTube variety show ‘SsookSsook’ for the first time. As the show’s first-ever brainstorming session client, she presented a key question, “How should I promote my album?”
With the release of Jennie’s debut studio album around the corner, she is eager to find innovative ways to connect with fans and make her comeback as exciting as possible. Hence, she enlists the help of comedian Yang Se Chan, who takes on the role of her variety show manager. Together, they explore fresh and engaging strategies to maximize the impact of her upcoming release.
The SsookSsook team, along with the panel members and YouTube audience called Ssookjoo, brainstormed creative ideas for Jennie’s album promotion. They explore lyric analyses, behind-the-scene stories, and fun fan content like cookbang, mukbang, travel vlogs, and album unboxings to engage audiences.
As the first guest on ‘SsookSsook’, fans are excited to see her chosen promotional strategy, and how it will be reflected during her album’s release.
Apart from her variety show appearance, Jennie recently made a stunning impression at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show during the Paris Fashion Week 2025. She attended the event in a beautiful nude-tone mermaid dress, quickly becoming the center of attention for her chic and elegant look.
Jennie’s debut album ‘Ruby’ is set to drop on March 7, but before that, she is set to release a pre-release track ‘Love Hangover’ featuring Dominic Fike on January 31.
