BLACKPINK’s Jennie Announces ‘SOLO’ Cover Contest

After the massive success of her first ever solo single, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie has announced that

a dance cover contest will be held to celebrate the release of ‘SOLO‘!

The contest which was announced on BLACKPINK’s official social media and on YG Life will commence on 1st December 2018 (Saturday) and will end on 15th December 2018 (Saturday), 11:59 PM KST. This will give hopeful Blinks a little over two weeks to polish their choreography and upload their contest entries.

There will be a total of three winning teams and the winners will be announced via BLACKPINK’s official SNS (Instagram, Twitter) on 20th December 2018 (Thursday).

 

With a total prize pool of 15 Million KRW the contest is already making waves amongst netizens. The first place team is set to win 10 Million KRW, while second and third place will win 3 Million KRW and 2 Million KRW respectively.

If you want the chance to show off your smooth dance moves, your love for BLACKPINK and win some awesome prize money – this is your time! Here’s how you can participate.

#1 – Record a full length dance cover of Jennie’s ‘SOLO’ and upload it to YouTube.

#2 – Fill out this application on Google forms. (The application form goes live on 1st December 2018!)

The winning teams will be selected based 50% on YG Entertainment’s evaluation and 50% on YouTube views.
