Actors Jeon So Nee and Park Hyung Sik Are In Talks For A Historical Drama

 

Will Jeon So Nee And Park Hyung Sik Star Together In A New Drama?

 

Earlier today,  it was reported that Jeon So Nee will be starring in a new drama, “Youth, Climb The Barrier” (working title).  However, Jeon So Nee’s agency, Management SOOP, made it clear that although she had indeed received a casting offer, they were still finalizing the details.

 

“Youth, Climb The Barrier” is a historical drama based on the romance between a prince who was suffering from a mysterious curse & a woman who got falsely accused of murdering her family.

 

Jeon So Nee has been offered the lead role of this drama, Min Jae Yi. It was revealed in March that Park Hyung Sik was in talks as the main lead of this show, Prince Lee Hwan. The filming for the drama is expected to begin in the second half of this year and it is speculated that it will be aired via tvN.

 

This drama will be written by Jung Hyun Jung, who is well-known for his past dramas ‘Romance is a Bonus Book’ & ‘Lovestruck in the City’ and it is directed by Lee Jong Jae, who previously directed ‘100 Days My Prince’.  

 

In other related news, Park Hyun Sik was discharged from his mandatory military service earlier in January and was confirmed to be playing the lead role alongside Han Hyo Joo, in the upcoming drama, ‘Happiness’. This drama is scheduled to air in the second half of this year.  Jeon So Nee was last seen in the drama, ‘Scripting Your Destiny’ which aired earlier this year.
