Actor Jang Ki Yong has officially signed with United Artists Agency (UAA) after parting ways with YG Entertainment.
On February 23, the United Artists Agency (UAA) confirmed the news, expressing excitement over welcoming the actor into their family. His decision to sign with UAA follows YG Entertainment’s recent closure of its actor management division to focus entirely on music. This marks a new chapter in his career as he joins an agency known for managing top actors, including his former co-star Song Hye Kyo.
Since his debut, Jang Ki Yong has played a variety of roles in different genres. He first caught attention with his supporting role in ‘Go Back Couple’ before becoming a lead actor. His performance in ‘Come and Hug Me’ was highly praised and won him the ‘Best New Actor award’. He continued to show his versatility in dramas like ‘Kill It’ and ‘Search: WWW’. His talent for adapting to different roles was also seen in ‘Born Again’ and ‘My Roommate Is a Gumiho’.
In other news, Jang Ki Yong has completed filming for the upcoming series ‘Pig Pen’, which is set to be released in 2025. He will also star in the new SBS drama ‘I Shouldn’t Have Kissed You!’, scheduled to air in the second half of 2025.
With UAA’s support, fans eagerly await Jang Ki Yong’s next steps as he takes on new challenges and grows in his career.
