ITZY Make First Ever Comeback With Exciting ‘ICY’ MV

Rookie girl group ITZY have made their first ever comeback with “ICY“!

The quintet debuted earlier this year with the high energy single “DALLA DALLA” which was choreographed by dance crew ALiEN. With their intensely catchy song, girl crush vibes and energetic choreography, ITZY were immediately titled ‘Monster Rookies.’

The girls made their first ever comeback with the release of the “ICY” music video, at 0 AM KST today (29th July), with the “IT’z ICY” mini-album scheduled to follow at 6 PM KST.

True to the image the girls are going for, “ICY” is every bit girl crush as it is pure and exhilarating pop. Penned by JYP Entertainment‘s J.Y. Park “The Asiansoul” himself, expectations were pretty… High.

Not only is the magnificent summer pop track incredibly catchy with it’s hook “I see that I’m icy!”, it features what is probably some of the best girl group choreography of the year. Choreographed by living legend Brian Friedman, “ICY” gives us a fresh take on girl crush.
