The four membered girl group from YG Entertainment returned with an epic music video for their new title track ‘Kill This Love‘ on 5th April and YouTube has officially announced that the music video has become the music video with the highest views in it’s first 24 hours since it’s release.
The ‘Kill This Love‘ MV officially reached 56.7M views in its first 24 hours. The previous record was held by Ariana Grande‘s ‘Thank U, Next‘ with 55.4M views in 24 hours while BTS‘ ‘Idol‘ reached 45.9 million views on its first day.
‘Kill This Love‘ has become the fastest K-Pop music video to gather 100M views on YouTube. BLACKPINK have also become the first K-Pop girl group to top the US iTunes Top Songs chart.
