For the first time in the history of ‘Street World Fighter’, the competition introduced two new missions, each with its own objective.
With each passing week, the uncertainty surrounding the competition grows. Who will make it to the finals, let alone claim the crown? As the missions unfold and contestants continue to defy expectations, the battle for a place in the final becomes increasingly unpredictable. Just when one choreographer seems poised to win a mission, another participant unexpectedly steals the victory and the spotlight. With every challenge comes another elimination, leaving only the strongest contenders in the race and making the competition more intense than ever.
Judging by their expertise, originality, and impressive choreography, three names stand out as serious contenders for the title so far: Bada, Ingyoo, and Baek Koo-young. While these choreographers have already established themselves as some of the best in the industry, the possibility of Babyzoo, Casper, Simeez, or Minjun rising to prominence cannot be ruled out. If there is one word that perfectly describes this season, it is ‘unexpected.’
This time, not one but two new missions were introduced: the Kids Mission and the Brand Performance Film Mission.
The Kids Mission
It wouldn’t be a surprise if this episode became a fan favorite. It’s not just because of the involvement of kids, but also because of the sheer quality of the dance battle segment. Each battle seemed to raise the bar, making it hard to believe that these were children and not seasoned professionals.
Once the choreographers were divided into two groups, they were tasked with creating a compelling story and a video featuring the young talents.
-
Bada, Ingyoo, Simeez and Minjun
Given the popularity and experience of this group’s members, one would have expected them to win by a landslide. But perhaps putting too many creative minds under one roof is a recipe for disaster. Unfortunately, their video turned out to be a huge mess, leaving the audience disappointed.
It would be unfair to blame the kids. While the opposing team took the time to bond with the young members and create a fun atmosphere, this group focused on maintaining a professional approach, yet failed miserably. Perhaps only Minjun’s segment stood out, appearing slightly more sophisticated than the other parts of the video.

Back Koo-young, Babyzoo, Casper
One of the reasons this video emerged victorious in the challenge was Baek Koo-young’s introductory segment, which reminded everyone exactly why he is known as the ‘father of K-pop.’
The team’s greatest strength was the harmony between each choreographer’s segment. The powerful storytelling, cinematic visuals, dance moves, camera angles, and overall execution were flawless. Interestingly, while the opposing team had secured all their preferred young members, it was this group that won everyone’s hearts.
The Brand Performance Film Mission
Once again, the competition introduced a brand-new mission, and this time, the stakes were higher. There would be eliminations, but there was also the crucial task of determining who would secure a place in the finals. For this mission, the contestants had to produce performance films under the theme of global smartphone brands, and some of the finished films would eventually be used as actual advertisements. So, it wasn’t just about earning a place in the finals but also about serving as a brand model.
The concept behind this challenge was particularly interesting and added a K-pop element, as incorporating brand deals captured the sense of authenticity and familiarity usually associated with the lives of K-pop idols.
Once the solo performance videos were shot and the evaluation was over, Babyzoo was selected as the final movement director. Finally, he was getting his moment to shine! It felt like a long-overdue moment for Babyzoo, whose creativity and talent were finally receiving the recognition they deserved. His directing skills are truly on another level. Even during the Kids Mission, where he had to work alongside more experienced seniors, his segment never felt overshadowed or out of place.
The Last Ones Standing
With Simeez, Ingyoo, and Minjun eliminated, only Baek Koo-young, Bada, Casper, and Babyzoo remained in the competition and advanced to the finals. Yet, Minjun’s departure feels particularly bittersweet. He didn’t have much K-pop experience, but he was a genius. Mission after mission, he was pushed into the elimination round but always survived thanks to his sheer will and determination. In fact, one could argue that his elimination performances were far more memorable than most of the competition’s stages.
On the other hand, the remaining finalists bring an interesting mix of established popularity, years of professional expertise, and promising new talent.
Among all the finalists, who do you think has what it takes to win this season? Drop your comment below!
