Korean American singer-songwriter EJAE has tied the knot with music producer and composer turned computer programmer Samuel Kim.
A media outlet confirmed that the couple exchanged wedding vows during an outdoor ceremony on Saturday (October 17) at a multipurpose cultural venue in Seoul. The venue holds a special significance for EJAE, as it is located on the site of the former residence of her maternal grandfather, veteran actor Shin Young-kyun. The outlet’s official post was also shared by EJAE on her social media account.

EJAE is best known for lending her voice to the hit song ‘Golden’ from Netflix’s blockbuster animated film ‘KPop Demon Hunters’.
The couple had initially planned to get married in California next month but later decided to move the ceremony to South Korea and bring the date forward by about a month. The wedding took four months of preparations, as their initial plans were temporarily put on hold due to promotional activities and award show appearances following the success of ‘KPop Demon Hunters’.
EJAE and Kim first crossed paths during a music session in May 2017. Over time, their connection gradually evolved from a professional partnership into a romantic relationship. The couple announced their engagement in June last year.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
