The Plot

Ten years ago, a North Korean female secret agent shot her partner, Chul-seung, and escaped to South Korea. She underwent plastic surgery, changed her identity, and built a new life as Mi-young, a wife, a mother, and a humble bread seller. When her family wins a free trip to Hawaii, she reluctantly agrees to go for her daughter’s sake. But a covert team of North Korean agents, led by a miraculously surviving Chul-seung, is on board, tracking the agent they believe is on the flight.
Mid-air, the agents seize control of the plane. Mi-young, who was in the lavatory, escapes detection and quickly reveals her long-hidden martial arts skills. Meanwhile, Suk-hwan sneaks into the cargo hold and alerts the NIS, revealing that he, too, was once a secret agent. The hijackers’ true plan emerges: they want to crash the plane and take Mi-young back to North Korea to unlock a cache of nuclear weapons that only her retina can access.
Mi-young and Suk-hwan team up with Chul-seung to fight back. After defeating the agents, a shocking twist reveals that the elderly passenger who befriended Na-ri was the man who murdered Mi-young’s father years ago. He takes Na-ri hostage, but Mi-young kicks him out of the aircraft. The teddy bear he gave Na-ri contains a time bomb, which Mi-young throws out just before it explodes. The plane lands safely, and the family finally enjoys their Hawaiian vacation.

The film celebrates the quiet strength of ordinary people with extraordinary pasts and the unbreakable bond of a family that fights together.
