OMEGA X kicks off a new chapter with their 4th mini album, ‘UNCAPPED!’
June 19 KST, OMEGA X officially made their comeback with their 4th mini album, UNCAPPED, with the members JAEHAN, YECHAN, XEN, KEVIN, SEBIN, JEHYUN, and HWICHAN, in collaboration with Kooky.
More than just a comeback release, UNCAPPED represents a collaborative effort between OMEGA X and FOR X (fandom name). Fans took part in shaping the album by selecting the title track and the unit group arrangements for ‘Close to Me’ and ‘Cork.’

During our hiatus of more than two years, we also longed to return and greet you with new music. Members JAEHAN, YECHAN, and XEN were heavily involved in the songwriting and composition process, with JAEHAN and YECHAN credited on all five songs and XEN on three. The album embodies OMEGA X’s uninhibited spirit and explosive passion, capturing an energy that cannot be contained.
UNCAPPED is a five-piece album that opens with ‘Day Zero,’ a UK garage-inspired track that views new beginnings with optimism. The title track, ‘Uncapped,’ captures the thrill of breaking free from limitations. ‘Close to Me,’ performed by JAEHAN, XEN, and YECHAN, celebrates embracing differences, while ‘Cork,’ by HWICHAN, SEBIN, KEVIN, and JEHYUN, uses the metaphor of uncorking aged wine to express maturity and self-expression. The album closes with ‘Life Detox,’ an alternative pop song that encourages letting go of perfection and finding freedom in simply going with the flow.

OMEGA X is a 10-member K-Pop group that includes JAECHAN, HWICHAN, SEBIN, HANGYEOM, TAEDONG, XEN, JEHYUN, KEVIN, HYUK, and YECHAN.
All of the members of OMEGA X have previously appeared on reality TV audition programs or debuted with other K-pop acts, which made OMEGA X their second chance in the K-pop industry. All of the OMEGA X members have their own special stories, and through those stories, they hope that fans can relate and resonate with each member’s personality and music. Alongside the release of UNCAPPED, OMEGA X recently held their first fan live event in Japan, STAY, OMEGA X. Fans can also look forward to more exciting updates from the group in the coming months.
