Global Pop star HEYOON is back—and this time, she’s keeping it Seriously Unserious.
On April 15, HEYOON released her latest EP Seriously Unserious, marking her first release of 2026. Built around the mantra “Leave Your Brain @ Home and Party,” the EP features four energetic tracks—’aiaiai,’ ‘swipe‘ featuring Lou Garcia, ‘switchhhhhh,’ and ‘moneyyyyyyyyyyyyy.’ Each track carries its own distinct vibe while being fun, party music that encourages listeners to let go and live in the moment.
Speaking about the project, HEYOON shared, “Seriously Unserious—the name says it all. Let’s not take life too seriously and have funnnn. I wrote these songs 4 u to party!!!”
Leading the EP is the focus track ‘swipe,’ a high-energy collaboration with Brazilian artist Lou Garcia. With its catchy beats and dancefloor-ready sound, the track is expected to resonate strongly with fans in Brazil—one of HEYOON’s most passionate fanbases. The song is paired with a visually engaging music video that captures the vibrant chemistry between the two artists. Reflecting on their collaboration, HEYOON said, “Working with Lou didn’t feel like work at all—she’s iconic in her ways and she’s my girl!! I’m so grateful for the music and for the friendship.”
In addition to performing, HEYOON continues to establish herself as a creative force behind her music. She is credited as a co-writer and co-composer on ‘swipe’ and ‘switchhhhhh’.
HEYOON began her solo career in 2024 with the release of ‘Pivot’ featuring Armani White in collaboration with Universal Music Group Korea, earning attention from outlets such as MTV and CBS Los Angeles. She followed this with ‘ASAP’ featuring Chris Patrick, which gained coverage from Rolling Stone, Billboard, and NME. Her third single, ‘Addicted,’ was with the renowned producer Dale Becker, known for collaborations with Billie Eilish and Doja Cat.
Before embarking on her solo journey, HEYOON debuted in 2017 as part of the global pop group ‘Now United,’ created by Simon Fuller. During her time with the group, she performed in over 30 countries and contributed to more than 100 songs, building a strong international presence.
With Seriously Unserious, HEYOON steps into 2026 with confidence, delivering a project that captures her playful spirit and global outlook—an open invitation for fans everywhere to turn up the music and join the party.
