The Plot
Twenty-eight-year-olds Seon Tae-hyung (Bae In-hyuk) and Woo Hyun-jin (Roh Jeong-eui) have nothing in common except mutual annoyance. He’s a photography assistant with a painful past, raised in an orphanage after being abandoned by his older brother. She’s a pragmatic job seeker, raised by her devoted older sister after their parents’ death.
Then tragedy strikes. Their siblings, Tae-hyung’s brother and Hyun-jin’s sister, die suddenly in a car accident, leaving behind their 20-month-old son, Woo-ju (Park Yoo-ho). Now, these two in-laws, with no prior relationship and vastly different personalities, must share a home and raise a toddler together.
What follows is a delightful, chaotic, and deeply moving journey as these inexperienced guardians navigate midnight feedings, daycare dramas, and the terrifying realization that they might actually be falling for each other. But just as their bond deepens, Hyun-jin’s college senior, Park Yoon-seong (Park Seo-ham), re-enters her life, creating a love triangle that tests everyone’s hearts.
The Characters
Seon Tae-hyung (Bae In-hyuk)

A photography assistant known for his skill despite his junior status, Tae-hyung was raised in an orphanage after his brother left him there. Initially withdrawn and guarded, he prefers solitude and control. But when he becomes Woo-ju’s guardian, his walls slowly crumble. Bae In-hyuk delivers a nuanced performance, capturing Tae-hyung’s transformation from a guarded cynic to a devoted ‘uncle-dad,’ proving that family isn’t always about blood—it’s about showing up.
Woo Hyun-jin (Roh Jeong-eui)

A high-achieving college graduate who worked tirelessly to ease her sister’s burden, Hyun-jin is practical, determined, and utterly unprepared for motherhood. Despite having no experience, she commits wholeheartedly to raising Woo-ju. Roh Jeong-eui brings warmth and vulnerability to the role, portraying a woman torn between career ambitions, grief, and the unexpected pull of her heart toward both a child and the man helping her raise him.
Park Yoon-seong (Park Seo-ham)

The youngest team leader at BS Food and Hyun-jin’s college senior, Yoon-seong once harbored unrequited feelings for her. When they reunite as colleagues, he attempts to rekindle their connection, becoming a rival to Tae-hyung. Park Seo-ham adds charm and complexity to a character who questions the nature of Tae-hyung and Hyun-jin’s unconventional living arrangement.
Seon Woo-ju (Park Yoo-ho)

The 20-month-old heart of the show. With his angelic looks and unpredictable toddler temperament, Woo-ju steals every scene he’s in. Whether he’s crying heartbreakingly, making a mess, or simply being mischievous, he remains the emotional center of the story.
