EJAE is reportedly set to marry her fiancé, Sam Kim, later this year.
According to industry sources, EJAE is planning to tie the knot with her fiancé, Sam Kim, on November 7, 2026, at an L.A. golf course operated by EJAE’s mother, Shin Hye-jin, vice chairwoman of Se-young Enterprises.
Earlier last month, GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter EJAE shared an Instagram post revealing her proposal and engagement photos with her Korean-American producer fiancé, Sam Kim. Messages of congratulations and well wishes poured in from fellow industry colleagues. She also reportedly revealed her wedding plans during a radio interview in November 2025, confirming her engagement and plans for a fall 2026 wedding.
The couple is said to have met in 2017 during a songwriting session and grew together over the years. They reportedly became engaged in late 2023.
EJAE rose to widespread fame through her work as a co-lyricist and co-composer of the Oscar-nominated and GRAMMY-winning track ‘Golden’ from Netflix’s hit 2025 animated film ‘KPop Demon Hunters.’ She is also known as the singing voice of Rumi from the fictional girl group HUNTR/X featured in the film.
