SEVENTEEN’s new sub-unit duo is set to debut soon!
On November 6, PLEDIS Entertainment shared that SEVENTEEN members DK and Seungkwan are preparing to debut as a new sub-unit next year.
The pair previously showcased their strong chemistry as part of the beloved subunit BSS (BooSeokSoon) alongside Hoshi, delivering energetic hits like ‘Just Do It’, ‘Fighting’, and ‘CBZ (Prime Time)’. As anticipation builds, fans are eager to see what kind of sound and concept this new duo will bring.
This marks SEVENTEEN’s fifth sub-unit, comprising only vocal members, unlike the other units, BSS (Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi), Jeonghan x Wonwoo, Hoshi x Woozi, and CxM (S.COUPS x MINGYU).
This upcoming duo follows the success of SEVENTEEN’s fourth sub-unit, S.COUPS x MINGYU (CxM), who debuted in September with ‘HYPE VIBES’ and caught attention for topping the Emerging Artists chart, achieving high rankings on Billboard’s World Albums, Billboard 200 charts and record-breaking first-week sales.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN recently wrapped up the North American leg of their ‘NEW_’ 2025 world tour and will continue with performances in Japan later this month.
DK and Seungkwan’s unit debut is set for January 2026.
