Actor Kim Min Gue has officially completed his mandatory military service as of September 30. Having enlisted on April 1, 2024, he served as an active-duty soldier in the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA), fulfilling his duties with dedication and maturity.
Kim Min Gue shared his gratitude via an Instagram post saying, “A year and a half has passed, it feels like a long time and yet feels like just a moment. There were difficult moments, but thanks to the fans who loved and waited for me, and the wonderful seniors, juniors, and officers, I was able to complete my military service safely.” He expressed sincere gratitude to the fans who had waited for him with unwavering support, and promised to return soon with a great project.

His agency, Companion Company, also expressed its support, stating: “We plan to actively support Kim Min Gue in his future endeavors now that he has returned in good health. We sincerely thank all the fans who waited for him, and we ask for your continued support and interest.”
Kim Min Gue made his acting debut in 2013 with the tvN drama ‘Monstar’ and has since built a diverse portfolio, appearing in ‘Signal,’ ‘Because This Is My First Life,’ ‘Queen: Love and War,’ ‘Backstreet Rookie,’ and ‘Snowdrop.’ He gained popularity through his role in the drama ‘Business Proposal,’ where he charmed audiences worldwide. His role in ‘The Heavenly Idol,’ portraying both Rembrary, a high priest from another world, and Woo Yeon-woo, a K-pop idol, cemented his reputation as a versatile and leading actor.
