GFRIEND member YERIN has officially stepped into a new chapter with her first digital single ‘Awake’!
On September 24, YERIN officially released her first digital single ‘Awake’. The song ‘Awake’ is a chic-rock reminiscent and anime themed music that carries YERIN’s energetic spirit and fearless musical approach.
Through this single, YERIN conveys a message of courage and hope to the audience for the experience of being a protagonist in a story or a comic.
After the disbandment of the girl group GFRIEND in 2021,YERIN debuted into her solo career in 2022 with EP ‘Aria’. On January 13, owing to their 10th Anniversary, GFRIEND released their reunion album, ‘Season of Memories’ , along with their long awaited concert tour ‘Season of Memories’ in Asia.
With this song release, YERIN marks a significant milestone in her solo career, showcasing her artistic evolution and emotional depth through her music.
