SEVENTEEN‘s new subunit ‘S.COUPS X MINGYU’ is set to debut with a mini-album this month!
On September 3 at midnight KST, SEVENTEEN revealed the date and details of S.Coups and Mingyu’s debut as a new sub-unit, S.COUPS X MINGYU (CxM). The group shared a teaser trailer for the sub-unit’s debut mini-album, ‘HYPE VIBES,’ via their official social media channels.

The trailer, titled ‘JOIN OUR VIBE,’ features clips shot in Los Angeles, capturing the duo living freely and ending with a lively beach party. Adding a playful twist are two 3D alien characters, Kutte and Mante, who have arrived on Earth to recharge with music.
This marks SEVENTEEN’s fourth official subunit, following BSS (Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi), Jeonghan x Wonwoo, and Hoshi x Woozi. Unlike previous units that blended vocal, performance, or hip-hop team members, this is SEVENTEEN’s first unit composed entirely of hip-hop team members.
S.COUPS X MINGYU’s 1st mini-album, ‘HYPE VIBES,’ is scheduled to be released on September 29 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST). Pre-orders for the album began on September 3 at 11 AM KST (7:30 AM IST).
