Actor Song Young Kyu has passed away at the age of 55
On August 4, the Yongin Dongbu Police confirmed that South Korean actor Song Young Kyu had passed away. According to the police, the actor was found dead at 8 AM KST that day inside a parked car in a residential complex in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, by an acquaintance.
Police confirmed that there were no signs of foul play and no note was found at the scene. They are currently conducting an investigation and questioning his family members to determine the exact cause of his death. Officials stated that they are considering whether an autopsy needs to be conducted.
Song Young Kyu made his acting debut in 1994 and appeared in numerous dramas and films, including ‘Narco-Saints,’ ‘Extreme Job,’ ‘Big Bet,’ ‘The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection,’ ‘Destined With You,’ ‘Undercover,’ and ‘Land of Happiness.’
