SHINHWA’s Lee Min Woo is tying the knot!
On July 25, SHINHWA’s Lee Min Woo shared a heartfelt handwritten letter on Instagram announcing his marriage plans. He revealed that his partner is someone he has known for a long time, and after reconnecting, they realized their feelings for each other and decided to get married.
In his letter, Min Woo wrote, “I thought a lot about how to share this news and knew that if fans heard it from somewhere else first, they might feel disappointed. That’s why I wanted to be the one to tell you directly, even if the message is clumsy.”

He reflected on his journey so far, starting from his debut with SHINHWA, writing, “Every moment I’ve spent on stage as Lee Min Woo has been filled with happiness.”
He also expressed his gratitude and love for his fans, Shinhwa Changjo, and reassured them of his plans to continue his career after marriage, concluding, “From here on, my life may go through more changes, but I promise that with the love and support of Shinhwa Changjo and my family as my driving force, I’ll continue to meet you all as Lee Min Woo—unchanged, whether on stage or anywhere else.”
Although details about the wedding date or his fiancée have not been revealed, the production team of KBS2’s reality program ‘Mr. House Husband 2’ has confirmed that Lee Min Woo will introduce his fiancée on the show, where he is a fixed cast member.
