Former member of Wanna One, Yoon Ji Sung has started a second chapter of his career as soloist.
Yoon Ji Sung released his solo debut album ‘Aside‘ and the music video for title track ‘In The Rain‘ on 20th February at 6pm KST. He is the first member from Wanna One to make his solo debut.
The album consists of 6 songs including title track ‘In The Rain’, ‘Clover’, ‘Who Are You?’, ‘Why Not Me?’, ‘You…Like the Wind’, and ‘Slow’. The album raises anticipation as one of the songs were co-composed and written by Yoon Ji Sung and former Wanna One bandmate Lee Dae Hwi, and it also features a collaboration track with Stray Kids’ rapper Changbin.
Title track ‘In The Rain‘ is a song of pop R&B genre and the sounds of a brush stick at the start of the song give the effect of rain drops falling, attracting the attention of the listeners. The lyrics express the emotions of an unexpected breakup.
The music video features the singer in a colorful background singing for a loved one who has walked away, his soft and soulful vocals along with the concept of the music video attract the attention of the listeners and viewers.
