Davichi‘s Kang Min Kyung is making her solo debut!
Eleven years after making her debut as one-half of vocal duo Davichi, the artist will be releasing her first ever solo mini-album titled ‘Because I Love You’. The mini-album will be released on 27th February.
On 9th February, Kang Min Kyung took to her YouTube channel to speak about her new solo music – “I don’t want to make music that people can’t relate to. The reason I loved the songs of my sunbaes and still can’t forget them is because I related to their lyrics. That’s why I want people to listen to my music and think, ‘The lyrics are so good. I want to look at the lyrics.'”
With her solo debut drawing nearer, Kang Min Kyung shared a message with fans – “My first solo album that I’ve labored on for a long time is coming out. It’s a mini album, and it’s filled with the songs I was inspired to write. It’s my first time without Unni (Lee Hae Ri), I’m nervous and timid. My heart feels strange as well.”
She then went on to share that she thought she had become sturdy, but was surprised that despite being a singer for more than ten years she was still experiencing nerves.
