BLACKPINK’s Jennie is making waves with her solo debut album ‘Ruby’.
On June 24, Jennie’s first full-length solo album, ‘Ruby’, was featured on Billboard’s ‘50 Best Albums of 2025 So Far’ list. She’s the only K-pop artist to make the list, ranking at No. 21, marking a huge moment in her solo career.
Billboard described ‘Ruby’ as a bold and elegant project, full of confidence and energy. The album kicks off with ‘Like JENNIE’, setting the tone with strong, self-assured lyrics. From start to finish, each of the 15 tracks builds on that theme, offering a unique and personal look into Jennie’s artistry.
Billboard added, “The album is a striking first project that radiates confidence, elegance, and empowerment. It effortlessly blends empowerment through femininity with her newfound creative freedom, showcasing her full control over both the sound and visual direction of her work.”
The praise doesn’t stop there. Previously, ‘Ruby’ was also named ‘Best Album of 2025’ by both Rolling Stone and
