BLACKPINK is finally making their long-awaited comeback!
On June 23, YG Entertainment confirmed that BLACKPINK will unveil their new song at the upcoming BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR ‘DEADLINE’ IN GOYANG concerts, taking place on July 5 and 6 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium.
This will mark the group’s first new release in about two years and ten months since the release of ‘BORN PINK’ in September 2022. With all members reuniting after focusing on their individual activities, expectations are sky-high for what they’ll bring next.
While the title, concept, and official release date of the comeback track are still being kept under wraps, fans are already buzzing with excitement. YG shared that the group recently filmed the music video in Korea with a well-known international director, adding even more anticipation to what’s ahead.
“There were many discussions about how to announce the new song, and we decided to premiere it at the Goyang concert, which marks the starting point of the ‘DEADLINE’ world tour and a moment to reunite with our fans. We will officially share more details about the song release date soon,” a YG Entertainment representative shared.
Furthermore, the ‘DEADLINE’ tour kicks off in Korea and will hit 16 cities with 31 shows in total, including major stops like Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
