BTS’ j-hope’s latest single, ‘Killin’ It Girl’ featuring American rapper GloRilla, made an explosive impact shortly after its release on June 13. Within hours, the track soared to the top of the iTunes Top Songs charts in over 66 countries, including India, Australia, Brazil, Denmark, and France, as confirmed by BIGHIT MUSIC. His solo version of the track also followed closely behind, landing at No. 2 in many regions, further proving his powerful global presence. In India, the solo version of the song ranked at No. 5 on the iTunes Top Songs chart.
The momentum didn’t stop there; ‘Killin’ It Girl’ also made a powerful impact on YouTube. The MV entered the platform’s Top 10 Trending Videos in at least 38 countries, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada. With j-hope’s fluid dance moves and a visually striking narrative, the video made an instant impact.
The single was released alongside the finale of j-hope’s ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ tour, where he performed ‘Killin’ It Girl’ live for the first time during the June 13 concert at Goyang Sports Complex.
