Jennie is ready to deliver ‘Ruby’!
BLACKPINK’s Jennie released a close-up teaser image for ‘like JENNIE’, the lead track from her first full-length album ‘Ruby’, featuring a red astronaut-style helmet paired with a matching red padded jacket, along with the caption, ‘Counting down to takeoff’.
Hyping up anticipation, Jennie previously shared a snippet of ‘like JENNIE’, along with a glimpse of its choreography. The hip-hop track is set to showcase her distinctive rapping skills and fresh style.
‘Ruby’ features a total of 15 tracks, including the pre-released songs ‘Mantra’, ‘ZEN’, ‘Love Hangover’ featuring Dominic Fike, and ‘ExtraL’ featuring Doechii. The album also includes collaborations with renowned artists such as Dua Lipa, FKJ, Childish Gambino, and Kali Uchis.
The album is set to mark a new artistic direction for Jennie, with her actively involved in every aspect of its production, from songwriting to refining intricate details. It will showcase diverse narratives infused with personal emotions, reflecting her growth and refinement as an artist while featuring collaborations with renowned musicians, songwriters, and producers from around the world.
Jennie will host ‘The Ruby Experience’ showcase in three major cities to celebrate ‘Ruby’, starting in Los Angeles on March 6 and 7, followed by New York on March 10, and concluding in Seoul at Inspire Arena on March 15.
Jennie’s ‘Ruby’, along with the ‘like JENNIE’ MV, will be released on March 7.
