ADOR has since issued a brief statement regarding the members’ decision to rebrand as NJZ, saying, “It is deeply regrettable that the members made this unilateral decision before any legal ruling has been made regarding the validity of their exclusive contracts with ADOR.”
The company also stated that they will continue to protect the brand value of NewJeans and remain open to resolving any misunderstandings with the group while discussing their future activities.
