‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’ starring Jung Jinyoung and TWICE’s Dahyun has a premiere date!
On January 16, StudioTake shared a new poster of the movie ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’, along with its premiere date. ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’ is a Korean adaptation of the Taiwanese film of the same name, and stars Jung Jinyoung and TWICE’s Dahyun in her acting debut.

A coming-of-age romance, the movie follows Jin Woo (Jung Jinyoung), an 18-year-old boy, nervous about confessing his feelings to Seon Ah (Dahyun), his first love. Jung Jinyoung captures the carefree essence of youth, while Dahyun, in her acting debut, portrays a shy but determined Seon Ah, marking a new milestone in her career.
The newly released poster shows the leads in a sunlit classroom, their eyes locked in a moment of youthful love. The caption, “This is how you and I and we met”, captures the innocence and excitement of first love, stirring nostalgia and increasing excitement for the film.
This film marks Dahyun’s acting debut, giving fans a chance to see her talent outside of her identity as an idol in TWICE. Jung Jinyoung, who starred in ‘Sweet Home Season 3‘ and ‘ and is currently seen in ‘Who Is She‘, keeps impressing in dramas and movies, making the remake even more exciting.
As the release date nears, fans are excited to see the stars’ chemistry and how the love story is reimagined. With themes of love and courage, the movie promises to be memorable.
‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’ is set to release on February 21.
