BTS’ V is officially the new brand ambassador of Cartier!
On July 19, Cartier announced that BTS’ V aka Kim Taehyung is the face of the Panthère de Cartier campaign.
The Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Cartier D’Arnaud Carrez said,
“V was chosen as the brand ambassador because he embodies the magnetism, aura, look and strength of the animal panther, which is the official character of the luxury brand. He further continued, “V has a personality whose choices are guided by creativity as a musician, performer and art lover, with a style and elegance unique to him only.”
This is the artist’s second solo brand ambassadorship since Celine.
Within a few hours of the news announcement, the Cartier Panthere Yellow Gold necklace amounting to
$26,700 USD modelled by V has also been sold out on the brand site showing the power of the global star and his fandom.
