Save the Date: JUNNY will soon drop the track that fans have been waiting for over two years!
On June 29, R&B soloist JUNNY unveiled a visually aesthetic poster announcing the release date for his upcoming track ‘INVITATION,’ featuring hip-hop artist GAEKO.
The tagline in the poster “Won’t you crawl up in the bed with me?” is a lyric from the track and was also the first line of the song in a contest video. The lyric shows a deeper glimpse into the sensual concept and mature theme the song will dwell in.
Back in 2020, INVITATION gained huge popularity after going viral on TikTok for a contest titled “8bar Relay,” ultimately winning it. Although only a portion of the track was released as part of the contest, fans have expressed overwhelming love for it and repeatedly displayed their eagerness for its complete release. Hence the announcement has built up the existing anticipation amongst his fans.

JUNNY is a Korean-Canadian solo artist under Mauve Company who is currently based in South Korea. He made his debut with the EP ‘Monochrome’ in 2017 and since then has released five amazing EPs, one studio album, a number of amazing singles both solo and collaborative, and OSTs you can dish on. Although known for his presence in Korean R&B and soul genres, he has displayed his versatility through a number of tracks and has participated in the creation of some of K-Pop’s hit tracks for NCT, EXO, IU and more.
INVITATION is scheduled for release on July 6 at 6PM KST (2:30PM IST).
