After ‘Suspicious Partner,’ Another Hit K-Drama ‘Signal’ is confirmed to get an Indian Remake!
The Indian Adaptation of Kim Hye-soo, Cho Jin-woong & Lee Je-hoon’s Iconic Drama ‘Signal’ is confirmed to be titled ‘Gyaarah Gyaaraah.’ The Indian actors roped to play the lead are Kritika Kamra, Raghav Juyal, and Dhairya Karwa.
The Indian crime thriller will be directed by Umesh Bisht and co-written by Puja Banerji and Sunjoy Shekhar. The production will be helmed by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment. It is scheduled to be released on Zee5.
‘Signal’ is a superhit tvN drama based on real unsolved murder mysteries, where three detectives from 1989 and 2015 transcend time in their quest for truth and justice. Moreover, it is also one of the highest-rated Korean dramas in cable television history with a peak audience viewership of 12.544%.
The official teaser of ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’ is also out. More information regarding the Indian adaptation is yet to be announced.
