Following Jin in December, J-Hope is the second BTS member to enlist in the military. Previously, J-Hope declared on WeVerse Live on March 16 that he will be enlisting and teared up on his last Weverse live before enlisting.
BIGHIT MUSIC had previously requested, fans not to attend his enlistment ceremony since there will be no public events held on the day of his enlisting and the Army respected this request by not showing up on the base camp and showing their love for him on social media with various trends.
J-hope has taken to his personal Instagram account yesterday with a handwritten note that read, “I will return healthy and well!!.” He had also posted an image of his new haircut, in preparation for his enlistment.

J-Hope has also enlisted in the military as an active-duty soldier like Jin. He is reportedly entering the 36th Infantry Division recruit training center in Wonju city of Gangwon Province. He will be receiving five weeks of basic military training before being transferred to his duty station.
Before his enlistment, J-Hope collaborated with J-Cole for his single On The Street and the fandom will also get to hear him on Suga’s upcoming album D-DAY which is set to release on April 21, 2023.
Best wishes to J-Hope for his duty!
