Jung Sung Il has been offered the lead role in the upcoming K-drama ‘Guardians’.
In response to the news, Key East Entertainment, the agency representing the actor stated, “Jung Sung Il is positively considering the offer to star in the upcoming K-drama.”
‘Guardians’ will feature the tales of probation officials who are charged with supervising, assisting, and apprehending offenders. It portrays the tale of individuals attempting to correct a flawed legal system and will provide deeper insight into the lives of probation officers who assist, supervise, and confine offenders by including electronic supervisors and probation officers.
The role of Bok Tae Joo has been offered to Jung Sung Il. The character is a probation officer and electronic supervisor who has a sense of justice and is prepared to go to any lengths to imprison those who are most likely to commit new crimes. He is referred to as the “Grim Reaper” since he views even small acts as abhorrent and will send individuals to prison immediately if given the chance.
This will be the actor’s next assignment after appearing in the Netflix original series ‘The Glory Part 2’. Jung Sung Il gained more recognition for his role in the hit drama because of his excellent chemistry with co-stars Im Ji Yeon and Song Hye Kyo as well as his acting skills.
There is currently no news on the ‘Guardians’ release date, production as well as who will be casted along with Jung Sung Il.
