Black Knight starring Kim Woo Bin releases its first teaser. Based on a webtoon, the 2071 scenario of ‘Black Knight’ finds humanity unable to survive without respirators due to extreme pollution. 
The series chronicles the encounter between refugee Sa Wol (Kang You Seok), who has a dream of becoming a deliveryman because they are the refugees’ only hope, and legendary deliveryman 5-8 (Kim Woo Bin), as well as their struggle against the Chun Myung Group, a group that wants to rule the world through ruthless cruelty. The evil Ryu Seok will be played by Song Seung Heon, the only son of Chun Myung Group chairman Ryu Hae Jin, and Seol Ah, a major in military intelligence who watches out for Sa Wol like a family, will be played by Esom.
In a world shrouded in sand and smog, the recently released poster shows deliverymen 5-8 wearing a mask. Due to the environment’s desertification, he has a scruffy face and a piercing look, while the background of shot number 5-8 shows unidentified persons rushing behind his delivery vehicle. “A world where oxygen is regulated, the sole chance that might endanger the entire planet” the poster’s text reads.
In the teaser, 5-8 discusses what it takes to be a deliveryman as he states, “We deliver the oxygen and necessities to keep people alive.” 5-8 encounters intense fighting and perilous sandstorms while delivering the oxygen tanks – “Deliverymen need to be hardy. Because they must put their lives in danger to defend their vehicles from attacks by hunters. For this reason, many people desire to work as deliverymen”.
The release of ‘Black Knight’ is scheduled on May 12.
