PENTAGON ‘IN:VITE U’ TO A NEW WORLD WITH THEIR COMEBACK

K-Pop sensation PENTAGON is back with their 12th mini-album “IN:VITE U”. 

PENTAGON consisting of JINHO, HUI, WOOSEOK, KINO, YANAN, HONGSEOK, YEOONE, YUTO, and SHINWON, has been receiving love from fans all around the globe since their debut through their tracks like “Shine”, “Naughty Boy”, “Spring Snow”, “DO or NOT” and many more. They also recently received the ‘Best Choice’ Award in the singer category during the 2021 Asia Artists Awards held in December last month. 

The anticipation for the comeback has been all time high as “IN:VITE U” marks their first comeback after ten months. The comeback is even more special as PENTAGON will be seen back as a full group as Jinho, who was recently discharged after completion of his military service in November last year, also joined the group with their activities, adding on to the excitement. PENTAGON held a showcase to commemorate their latest comeback.

The comeback explores their awakening and their maturing sides. “IN:VITE U” combines the word ‘INVITE’ and ‘VITE’ which means quickly. It is an invitation to their fans to a new world that PENTAGON faces and a world where they meet us and quickly fall for us. During the showcase, the members shared their thoughts and feelings with regards to the mini-album and the tracks. The album displays the members unique capabilities and includes a total of 6 tracks with “Feelin’ Like” serving as the title track. 

During the comeback showcase, Jinho  mentioned how he tried to add more of his appeal to the project by displaying his mature side. Wooseok proceeded to try out the high-pitched part, which created wonders for the track, as Hongseok and Hui were the main vocals. 

The members repeatedly focused on introducing ‘new’ and ‘fresh’ elements throughout the album which could be seen as Shinwon said that they wanted to show something beyond their honest level of singing and their dignified way of loving this time. To which Yuto joked by commenting how luxurious and sexy he became as compared to last year, making everyone laugh and creating a fun mood. 

Every b-side track including the title song is self composed by PENTAGON members to which Wooseok asserted as being ‘meticulously crafted’. He also pointed out that the new changes do feel like they fit together like a ‘Legend’.

The title track “Feelin’ Like” is a perfect combination of R&B and pop which begins with an addictive intro with heavy beats along with astounding and delicate vocals. Members JINHO, KINO and WOOSEOK contributed immensely with the writing of the lyrics for “Feelin’ Like” and the choreography along with their strong visuals and sharp moves is definitely going to make their fans Feelin’ Like this is one of their best comebacks!

After displaying their unique charm during their showcase performance, Yanan expressed his wish to win 1st place with “Feelin’ Like” along with Jinho and the rest of the members.

With a track and an album like that, the wish may soon come true as the group is once again all set to steal the thunder with “Feelin’ Like”, showcasing their immense potential and illustrating their diversified musical colors while sharing in-depth stories of their mature selves.
