Coldplay X BTS Collaborative Single ‘My Universe’ MV To Be Released Soon

Brace yourselves as Coldplay and BTS continue to take us around the universe!

On September 30 KST, the official teaser image for the collaborative single ‘My Universe’ upcoming music video was unveiled. The MV is directed by Dave Meyers and is scheduled for release at September 30, 1PM KST (9:30 AM IST).

The colorful teaser image depicts extraterrestrial beings, planets, and even a whole new world! The image gives off Marvel’s Sci-fic film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ as well as the ‘Avengers’ vibes, and the color scheme just adds charisma to the entire theme. The image designer is @fosterlands and art director is @rahulb91.

When BTS and Coldplay collaborated for ‘My Universe’, it was already expected that it would break charts and it definitely did. The single entered the Top 10 on Melon Charts, Top 10 on Genie and charted No.1 on iTunes in India, U.S, U.K and more. It is also expected that the song might debut #1 on Hot 100. The song was released with an animated MV and currently has over 36 Million views and although it has been quite some days, at the time of writing, it is currently #18 ON TRENDING FOR MUSIC.

The collaboration single was however not the only thing that the two biggest groups gave to the fans. They recently released two new versions – Supernova 7 mix, courtesy of Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman and a stripped-back acoustic recording. Along with the lyric video of the first version, fans were also given a sneak peak behind what happened through the ‘My Universe’ Documentary.

If you thought that was it, Coldplay and BTS have just dropped the teaser picture of their much awaited music video and it is definitely giving us the universe vibes.

‘My Universe’ is a song that focuses on love and relating the immense worth of Universe to your precious ones. The track will be included in Coldplay’s upcoming music album, Music Of The Spheres, which is set to release on October 15.

In other news, BIG HIT Music recently announced Online Concert ‘BTS Permission To Dance On Stage’ as well their first in-person concert, ‘Permission To Dance On Stage’ in LA. It is the first time ARMYs and BTS will see each other face-to-face since the ‘Love Yourself’ tour in 2018-19.
