It has been announced that the Dream Concert for this year, will be held offline on 26th June, at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
The 2020 Dream concert was held online via online streaming platforms like YouTube, Naver and V LIVE due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. Now that this year’s Dream Concert is being held offline, fans are excited to watch idols live on offline stage again. ‘Dream concert’ was first held in 1995. This is a large scale concert that brings popular Korean music artists together for a fun music fest.
769 Entertainment, the sponsor for the 2021 Dream Concert, commented, “We came on as a sponsor to consolidate Korean entertainment’s global status and to quench the thirst of K-POP fans who have been stuck due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
However, the line-up for this concert is yet to be announced. The announcement of this offline concert created hope in K-Pop fans in relation to other concerts which were delayed or cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
