ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin and BOYNEXTDOOR’s Jaehyun are stepping down as MCs of Mnet’s M Countdown.
On September 2, a representative of Mnet confirmed their departure, stating, “Jaehyun and Sung Han Bin will step down as MCs after the September 4 broadcast. For the time being, the show will continue with special MCs”.
Sung Han Bin joined M Countdown in September 2023 and has since been earning recognition for his welcoming hosting style and thoughtful reactions. Jaehyun joined the lineup in January 2024 alongside RIIZE’s Sohee, bringing energy and quick wit to the stage.
Although Sohee stepped down in early February this year, the trio’s chemistry during their time together made them one of the show’s most memorable MC lineups.
As M Countdown prepares for this transition, special MCs will take the stage until a new permanent host is officially announced.
M Countdown broadcasts every Thursday at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
