On August 12 KST, a Korean media outlet reported that ZEROBASEONE, a project boy group formed through Mnet’s survival show ‘Boys Planet’, who was originally set to disband in January 2026, is currently in discussion to extend their contract.
Responding to the news, ZEROBASEONE’s agency WAKEONE issued an official statement, sharing, “We highly value ZEROBASEONE’s potential and possibility for growth. Accordingly, we have been continuously discussing with each member’s agency since the beginning of this year regarding the possibility of extending the project group’s activity period.”
Following numerous reports claiming that significant progress had been made toward an agreement and that an official announcement is expected soon, WAKEONE denied the claims, stressing that no decision has been finalized yet.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE will be releasing their first full-length album ‘NEVER SAY NEVER’ on September 1 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST). Additionally, the group is also gearing up for their ‘HERE&NOW’ world tour, starting from Seoul with a three-day concert from October 3 to 5.
