From Tears to Smiles: The Dialogue Magic of ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ (Episodes 5-8)

ZEROBASEONE’s leader Sung Hanbin has been announced as the new MC for Mnet’s highly anticipated global dance survival program, ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ (World of SWF), set to premiere in May 2025.

This upcoming dance program marks the third season of Mnet’s widely successful ‘Street Woman Fighter’ series, which will now extend its competitive stage globally. The teaser video released two months ago has already raised excitement among fans, showcasing talented dance crews representing various countries. Given the international acclaim garnered by the previous two seasons, anticipation for the new edition is exceptionally high. And, Sung Hanbin’s announcement as the show’s host has further amplified this excitement, particularly because of his reputation as one of the most skilled dancers among 5th-generation K-pop idols.

Sung Hanbin initially captured attention on Mnet’s idol survival program, ‘Boys Planet’, which formed the group, ZEROBASEONE. His impromptu collaboration stage with internationally renowned dancer Lip J left a strong impression. Before his debut, Sung Hanbin trained under renowned tutting dancer Spella and was also the only male member of her crew.

On March 25, Mnet also unveiled the dance groups participating in ‘World of Street Women Fighter’—AG SQUAD (Australia), BUMSUP (Korea), MOTIV (USA), OSAKA Ojo Gang (Osaka, Japan), RHTokyo (Tokyo, Japan), and ROYAL FAMILY (New Zealand)—each representing different countries across the globe.

By stepping into this hosting role, Sung Hanbin succeeds Kang Daniel, who previously hosted the series. Sung Hanbin’s selection highlights both his extensive dance experience and the respect he commands within the dance community.

As the World of SWF gears up to showcase unparalleled talent on a global scale, all eyes are now on Sung Hanbin. Will his energy and genuine passion for dance elevate this season? Will a fresh face and dynamic new perspective breathe new life into this beloved franchise?

Share your thoughts—what are your expectations for the show and its dynamic new host?
