YOUNG POSSE is all set for a comeback!
On July 22 at midnight KST, YOUNG POSSE unveiled the tracklist for their upcoming EP ‘Growing Pain pt.1: Free’. The album will feature seven tracks, with the title track being ‘FREESTYLE’. The other songs on the album include ‘YSSR’, ‘ADHD’, ‘School’s Out’, ‘MON3Y 8ANK’, ‘soju’, and ‘Same Shit 中 Another One’.

Notably, all the members have actively participated in the album. All five members—Sunhye, Yeonjung, JIANA, Doeun, and Jieun—contributed to the lyrics of the title track ‘FREESTYLE’, as well as ‘ADHD’, ‘soju’, and ‘Same Shit 中 Another One’. Additionally, Sunhye, Doeun, and Jieun contributed to the lyrics of ‘MON3Y 8ANK’, while Sunhye and Doeun also co-wrote ‘School’s Out’, which is set to be a unit song by them. Furthermore, Sunhye, Yeonjung, and JIANA helped compose ‘soju’, and Yeonjung and Doeun participated in composing ‘Same Shit 中 Another One’, showcasing their growing musical skills.
The tracklist image, presented like an open journal, is decorated with hand-drawn scribbles, Polaroid photos, and phrases like ‘Just leave me alone!!!!’, ‘Give me my money!’, and ‘This is YOUNG POSSE’, adding to the excitement around the release.
‘Growing Pain pt.1: Free’ marks the group’s first release in about five months since ‘COLD’ dropped in March. Known for their unique hip-hop vibe, the group’s latest comeback has built a lot of anticipation.
