YG Entertainment’s founder Yang Hyun Suk makes revelations regarding the future activity of TREASURE.
Yang Hyun Suk revealed that a full-length album will be released for their comeback, consisting of original songs that are new and fresh. The founder feels that the band will be reborn through this comeback. He further shared that the album will be a fresh start for TREASURE which guarantees to grab the interest of fans towards their comeback. Additionally, he also announced the launching of a new TREASURE Unit, ‘T5.’
T5 will consist of five members selected on the basis of their self-proclamation of being handsome. The founder commented regarding the formation of the unit that he asked members who think of themselves as the most handsome within the group to form T5. The unit will debut in July before its comeback and the name of the unit members will be revealed on 13 June.
TREASURE is a 10-member boy band that debuted in 2020 with members Choi Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jaehyuk, Asahi, Haruto, Doyoung, Park Jeong-woo, and So Junghwan. Members Mashiho and Bang Ye Dam are former members of the team.
The group made their last comeback with a mini album ‘The Second Step: Chapter Two’ in October 2022.
