‘X:IN’ Announces Official Fandom Name

The much-awaited fandom name is finally announced!

On May 17, rookie girl group X:IN made an official announcement via YouTube, revealing the name for their fanbase!

Following a voting process among the members, the chosen official fandom name emerged as the winner with three out of five votes. The selected name draws inspiration from the group’s signature greeting, “Ready, X:IN,” signifying the important role of fans in X:IN’s journey. The video explained, “just as the word ‘action’ doesn’t come out without ‘ready,’ it means there’s no X:IN without fans ‘READY.'” In other words, “X:IN and fans shine more when they are together!”

The selection process for the fandom name involved narrowing down a list of five potential names for the members to vote. The shortlisted options included Y:IN, XINER, XPERIAS, READY, and NIX.

‘READY’ received the most number of votes and is now the official fandom name!

X:IN is a 5 member group, under Escrow Entertainment, comprising of Korean members Roa and Chi.U, Korean-Australian member E.Sha, Russian member Nova, and Indian member Aria.

Ahead of their official debut in the South Korean music industry, they released a pre-debut track titled ‘Who Am I’ on March 12, 2023. On April 11, they made their debut with the digital single ‘KEEPING THE FIRE.’
