‘Whenever Possible’ Gears Up To Return This May

The variety show ‘Whenever Possible’ gears up to return with a new season this May.

On January 22, a Korean media outlet reported that the production team of the SBS variety show ‘Whenever Possible’ had begun preparations for a new season after a successful run of season two. Directed by Choi Bo Pil and written by Chae Jin Ah, the second season recently concluded with record-breaking ratings and a possible third season is set to air in May.

‘Whenever Possible,’ hosted by Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok, is a unique variety show where the hosts visit their guests during the brief times they are free, aiming to sprinkle some luck and joy into their daily lives. The show features “Gap Friends” (special guests) who join the hosts to interact with clients, known as “Gap Owners” through games and heartwarming conversations.

The first season of the show was aired in April 2024 and went on to become a hit with the audience. The second season started in October 2024 and aired its finale on January 21, 2025, with Kim Jong Kook and Cha Tae Hyun as the quests. The show boasts an impressive lineup of guests, including Park Shin Hye, Kim Nam Gil, and Davichi.

During the finale of season two of ‘Whenever Possible,’ Yoo Jae Suk thanked the fans and said, “We’ll see you again when it’s warmer.” Keeping to his word, the new season promises to come in the summer with upgraded entertainment but with the same beloved hosts.
