WayV is Here to Receive All The Love With Their 5th Mini-Album ‘Give Me That’

On June 3, WayV released their highly anticipated 5th mini album, ‘Give Me That’. The album’s key theme is love, showcasing a different side of the group compared to their previous works. The entire album is filled with bright and cheerful tracks. This comeback marks the group’s first release in seven months since ‘On My Youth’.

‘Give Me That’ features six tracks , with the title track, ‘Give Me That,’ being a pop dance song featuring addictive melodies and brass elements over an old-school funk drum beat. The lyrics are about confessing love to your significant other. In the music video, the members showcase bright energy and impressive choreography. Other songs on the album include ‘She A Wolf’, ‘Might As Well’, ‘New Ride’, ‘Don’t Get Mad’ and the Korean version of the title track, ‘Give Me That’.

Earlier, during the showcase of the mini album, the members expressed their excitement about ‘Give Me That’. They shared that their goal with this album is to ensure as many people as possible experience their diverse identity. The members also mentioned that they have filmed a lot of video content and plan to engage in more promotional activities in Korea.

The members also assured fans that Winwin will be back soon, expressing how much they missed him. Meanwhile, SM Entertainment previously announced that Winwin will not participate in this album due to scheduling conflicts.

WayV is the fourth subunit of NCT under SM Entertainment. The group currently consists of six members Kun, Ten, WinWin , XiaoJun, Hendery and YangYang. The group debuted on January 17, 2019, with the single album ‘The Vision’. The group is set to perform at Seoul’s Waterbomb Festival on Sunday, July 7.
