Hanteo Music Awards 2024 is back to celebrate its 32nd anniversary!
Hanteo Music Awards is a leading K-Pop awards ceremony renowned for its data-driven and precise recognition of talent, organized by Hanteo Global, the creators of South Korea’s first music chart, the Hanteo Chart. The only K-Pop awards show held exclusively in Seoul, emphasizing and solidifying its significance in the heart of the genre’s birthplace.
Aligned with its mission to celebrate the bond between artists and fans, Hanteo Music Awards 2024 has announced that voting for the ‘WhosFandom Award’ category will begin on December 2. The ‘WhosFandom Award’ is a unique category that honors not only the K-Pop act but also the fandom that demonstrated exceptional engagement and support throughout the year. It is the only award in South Korea that directly celebrates fandoms, further highlighting the importance of the fan-artist connection to the core.
The voting process will feature two phases, and the competition will be divided into male and female artist categories, aiming to increase participation and engagement from fans worldwide.

The first phase of voting, which will take place from December 2-6, will focus on the Top 40 male and female artists selected for the ‘WhosFandom Award’. Fans can participate through the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the Hanteo Music Awards. In the second phase, the competition will be narrowed down to the Top 16 contenders. It will take place on the global fandom platform, the Whosfan app (iOS/Android), for a seamless experience for international participants.
Once the ‘WhosFandom Award’ winners are announced, additional voting rounds for other HMA 2024 categories will continue on the Whosfan app.
A representative from Hanteo Global expressed their excitement to celebrate the bond between artists and their fandoms through the ‘WhosFandom Award’ and shared their commitment to providing an inclusive and engaging experience for fans globally.
The 32nd Hanteo Music Awards is set to be held on February 15-16, 2025 at Jangchung Arena, Jung District, Seoul.
The voting schedule and other details of the awards will be updated via the official Hanteo Music Awards X account, the Whosfan app, and the Hanteo Music Awards website.
