Jihyo decorates Japanese drama with her powerful vocals!
On June 28 KST, TWICE’s Jihyo released her first solo Japanese OST titled ‘New Days’, for the Japanese adaptation of the popular Korean drama ‘Marry My Husband’.
‘New Days’ combines an upbeat melody with a positive message about choosing your own life’s decisions, complementing perfectly with the drama’s emotional storyline. Jihyo’s powerful voice is a standout in this track, bringing a fresh sound to the drama’s soundtrack.
‘Marry My Husband’ stars Koshiba Fuka, Takeru Satoh, and Sei Shiraishi as the main leads. It follows the story of a female, Misa, who is battling cancer and discovers that her husband and her best friend are having an affair and putting on an act in front of her. After a sudden miracle, when Misa wakes up ten years in the past, she is determined to take her revenge. While working, she meets her director, who changes her life, bringing more twists, turns, revenge, and romance, keeping the viewers hooked.
With ‘New Days’ marking Jihyo’s first-ever Japanese OST, it expands her musical artistry and growth as a solo artist, further cementing her as a global artist.
‘Marry My Husband’, which is currently airing on Amazon Prime, started on June 27 with two new episodes every Friday till July 25.
