TWICE’s CHAEYOUNG embarks on her solo journey!
On September 12 at 1 PM KST (9:30 AM IST), CHAEYOUNG officially made her solo debut with the release of her first full-length album, ‘LIL FANTASY vol.1’.
‘LIL FANTASY vol.1’ contains ten tracks, including the title track ‘SHOOT (Firecracker)’. The title track was released with a vibrant MV, where CHAEYOUNG delivers a jazzy, disco-inspired performance that symbolizes ambition, growth, and celebration. The track has already captured fans’ attention with its catchy melody and powerful message: “Let’s set off firecrackers together and enjoy the party.”
Other tracks on the album include ‘AVOCADO’ featuring Gliiico, ‘BAND-AID’, ‘GIRL’, ‘RIBBON’ featuring SUMIN and Jibin of Y2K92, ‘DOWNPOUR’ featuring Kai, ‘BF’, ‘SHADOW PUPPETS’, ‘My Guitar’, and the physical version exclusive track ‘Lonely Doll Waltz’. CHAEYOUNG actively participated in composing and writing across all songs, collaborating with other artists and showcasing her versatility and artistry.
CHAEYOUNG shared through the agency JYP Entertainment that the album title reflects a world of her own making. “‘LIL FANTASY’ is the name of the small world inside me. By adding ‘vol.1,’ I wanted to say this story will continue in different directions.”
With this release, CHAEYOUNG becomes the fourth TWICE member to launch a solo career, following members Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu.
