TVXQ! has renewed their contract with SM Entertainment, continuing their two-decade-long journey.
On April 2, SM Entertainment confirmed that TVXQ! members Yunho and Changmin have renewed their contract with the company, stating, “We are delighted to continue working with TVXQ. As legendary K-pop artists who have been a part of SM’s history, we will actively support Yunho and Changmin’s wide-ranging activities across various fields.”
Yunho conveyed his emotional connection to the company and shared that he is happy to stay with SM. “It feels deeply moving to continue my connection with SM, the company that has been with me since my debut. As TVXQ, we will always strive to show our best in various fields to repay the unwavering love and support from fans,” he stated.
Changmin echoed this sentiment, expressing deep appreciation for the long-standing partnership. He highlighted the agency’s continuous support and said, “It is incredibly meaningful to have walked this path with SM for over 20 years. Together with SM, which has always supported and empowered us, we will continue to shape an even more remarkable future for TVXQ.”
Yunho and Max Changmin debuted in the group TVXQ! in 2003. Since then, the group has delivered various hits like ‘Mirotic,’ ‘Hug,’ ‘Keep Your Head Down,’ and more, establishing themselves as one of Asia’s biggest boy bands in the 2000s.
This contract renewal solidifies a 22-year partnership between the agency and TVXQ! members Yunho and Changmin.
