tvN drops the first look of actors Lee Jong Suk and Mun Ka Young from the upcoming drama ‘Law and The City.’
On May 22, tvN unveiled stills from the script reading of their upcoming legal drama ‘Law and The City,’ alongside the first look at leads Lee Jong Suk and Mun Ka Young. The drama follows five associate attorneys in the Seocho legal district, nicknamed the “Associate Lawyers Avengers,” as they face the ups and downs of everyday life.

Lee Jong Suk stars as Ahn Ju Hyeong, a seasoned attorney in his ninth year of service. A stoic and seemingly cold man, Ju Hyeong became a lawyer due to his interest in fact-driven logic, rather than a desire to protect the weak or uphold justice. A veteran in his field, he refuses to start his own practice, finding it too troublesome.
In contrast, Kang Hui Ji (Mun Ka Young) is a first-year associate attorney and the total opposite of Ahn Ju Hyeong. A recent hire in Seocho’s legal district, she believes in practicing law to improve people’s lives. A social butterfly, Hui Ji’s entry turns Ju Hyeong’s life around.

The cast also includes Kang You Seok as Cho Chang Won, a high-spirited and enthusiastic attorney; Ryu Hye Young as Bae Mun Jeong, a confident attorney with the ability to ease tricky situations; and Im Seong Jae as Ha Sang Gi, an independent associate attorney.
The drama, directed by Park Seung Woo, is based on the real-life experiences of practicing attorney and the show’s writer, Lee Seung Hyun.
‘Law and The City’ is set to premiere in July.
