K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) is set to release two songs in Japan next month—‘Step by Step’ and ‘Rise’—both selected as theme songs for different programs.
On March 22, Fuji TV announced that ‘Step by Step’ will serve as the theme song for its Saturday morning information program, ‘Mezamashi Doyoubi‘. Created by singer-songwriter Eve, renowned for his work in anime and commercial music, the track is a perfect fit for starting the day on a positive note. ‘Step by Step’ will accompany the program for a full year, starting April 5.

Previously, on March 21, BEYBLADE X revealed a promotional poster announcing that ‘Rise’ has been chosen as the opening theme for the globally beloved anime ‘BEYBLADE X’. Written and composed by UZ and MOMIKEN from the popular Japanese band SPYAIR, ‘Rise’ will debut in episode 75, airing on April 4, before its official digital release on April 7.

This marks a rare occasion where two songs by the same artist have been selected simultaneously as theme songs for both an anime and a TV program.
This achievement is a testament to TXT’s growing influence in Japan. As they continue to captivate audiences worldwide, the group is also set to embark on their first European tour, ‘ACT: PROMISE EP 2’.
